The town itself has a river front of rowing clubs, a fruit-port market and the Museo de Arte Tigre in a Belle Époque club house (vivitigre.gob.ar).
Getting there
By the Mitre line from Retiro to Tigre (Trenes Argentinos), or by road north through San Isidro.
The delta
Launches and boat trips leave the river station for the islands of the Paraná Delta; the town’s tourist office (vivitigre.gob.ar) lists the options.
