About The Teatro Colón

The Teatro Colón is the opera house of Buenos Aires, in the centre a block from the Avenida 9 de Julio. It is home to its own orchestra, ballet and chorus, and to the Filarmónica de Buenos Aires; its 2026 season includes Kenneth MacMillan’s Manon, danced by the Ballet Estable from 5 to 15 November. Guided visits, including a sunset tour that ends with wine on the terrace of the Salón Dorado, are sold on its own site.
