Buying tickets for the opera, tango shows, football and polo in Buenos Aires

The opera house, the tango houses, the football clubs and the polo association sell tickets through their own websites and box offices.

Updated October 2026

Opera, ballet and concerts

The Teatro Colón sells performances and guided visits on teatrocolon.org.ar; in November 2026 the Ballet Estable dances Manon (5–15 November).

Tango shows

Book dinner shows directly with the house: El Querandí, Rojo Tango at the Faena, Tango Porteño and the Café de los Angelitos all sell online. Milongas such as El Beso charge at the door; check the programme first.

Football

Buy match tickets only through the clubs’ own channels, such as bocajuniors.com.ar for La Bombonera; resale offers may not be genuine.

The Argentine Open

Fixtures and tickets for the Argentine Open at Palermo are published by the Asociación Argentina de Polo (aapolo.com).
